DBR live to “revolutionise” the face of marketing

Supponor’s replacement billboard advertising has been heralded as revolutionising the face of marketing, after its success at the European Waterpolo Championships 2012.

The tournament’s director and one of Europe’s leading sports marketing experts both said the technology represented a breakthrough in marketing arena events.

DBRLive was of a higher quality than LED systems, they said, and was particularly exciting because it allowed the advertising market to be segmented.

Euro Champs a success for Supponor technology

Successful coverage of the European Waterpolo Championships has delighted the team behind Supponor’s DBRLive technology.

It was the first time the system, which replaces digital billlboard ads during broadcast, had been tested at a water-based indoor stadium event.

And the technology rose to the challenge, allowing Supponor to replace poolside billboard ads in broadcast feeds from 44 games over two weeks at the Pieter van den Hoogenband Swimming Stadium, Eindhoven.

Waterpolo Championship moves to final stages

The European Waterpolo Championships are providing the latest platform for Supponor’s technology as competitors progress to the final stages.

The Championships, in Eindhoven, are the first major pan European indoor event Supponor has broadcast from live, using its revolutionary DBRLive technology.

Twelve men’s teams and eight women’s teams are competing, keenly followed ahead of this summer’s London Olympics, and the games are being broadcast in more than 12 countries Europe-wide.

demonstrations of how tailored billboard advertising works.

The van is the first of a series commissioned to meet the

Supponor’s Head of Operations.

Supponor delivers another Wembley success

Supponor continued with its mission to revolutionise sports advertising with a successful DBRLive production at the England v Sweden game at Wembley.

The company’s ground-breaking technology enabled tailored billboard advertising to be distributed to 140 countries using, for the first time at Wembley, three broadcast feeds.

Supponor back in action at Wembley

Supponor’s tailored billboard advertising will be back in action at the England vs Sweden football international at Wembley this week. Fans watching the friendly on TV in different territories will see a completely different set of billboard advertising to those watching the game in the stadium.

This is because billboards along one 100 metre-plus stretch of touchline have been covered with Supponor’s revolutionary special film which allows replacement billboard images to be inserted into the live broadcast feed.

United will provide logistics and operational support at live sports events for the Supponor technology which EMG describe as something that “will radically change sports marketing”.

Football Leaders see DBRLive
